Tourist visas are granted multi-entry for six months free of cost. Long-term visas have been suspended temporarily. Visa is issued free of cost for those who have Argentine and Uruguayan passport. There should be a gap of two months between visits under tourist visa. Fresh tourist visa will be given one month after the expiry of the previous visa

Business multientry visa for 5 years free of cost. Under the visa Agreement signed on 14 october 2009 during the visit of President of Argentina to Delhi (Visa agreement signed in the form of exchange of letters between Foreign Ministers of Argentina and India - Agreement in English - in Spanish), it has been agreed to grant five year multientry business visas free of cost. Stay during each visit is 90 days. Business Visa applicants should provide complete details of their business in Argentina, clients in India and the business proposed to be done with Indian companies.

Business Visa applicants are welcome to visit our Business Centre and see our Commercial Officer Marcelo Quatromano or Second Secretary Eenam Gambhir and the Ambassador for information and guidance.

Visa timings are: 10.00 to 12.30 and 14.30 to 16.30 hrs.

Passport with minimum 6 months of validity
2 photos 4x4 (colour).
Yellow Fever Vaccine Certificate (Visa will not be issued without vaccination Certificate. Those without Vaccination certificate will be put in quarantine or sent back at the airports in India) ONLY exceptions are children younger than 6 months old. Vaccination certificate must be from a Government authorised Centre. In Buenos Aires, you can get the vaccination done for free at Sanidad de Frontera (Ingeniero Huergo 690). The vaccination is valid after 10 days of administering the vaccine. Medical justification for not getting vaccinated will not guarantee visa.

Business or employment visa must be taken from the country of the applicant´s origin. It can be taken from this Embassy only if the applicant has stayed in Argentina, Uruguay or Paraguay for more than 2 years. Uruguayans and paraguyans have to pay visa fees for business visa. Passport Form
The maximum life of an India Passport is ten (10) years from the date of issue. Please ensure that you obtain a fresh passport within one year before its expiry, as issue of new passport, after expiry of previous passport, could take a number of weeks.

Children are issued separate passports, irrespective of age.

Please submit your application with the following documents:
·       Original Police Report intimating about loss of passport.
·       Eight photographs.
·       Additional information form for issue of duplicate passports. Form to be obtained from the Embassy.
·       Clear Photocopy of previous (lost) passport.
·       Statement giving details of the date/place/circumstances of the loss of passport.
·       Copies of any document indicating the personal particulars and the nationality status of the applicant. (The originals may also be required to be shown to the Embassy.)
