IV Festival of India - 3 to 13 December 2011
The air of Buenos Aires was... filled again...for the fourth time... with Indian music, dance and aroma of spices ... during the Fourth Festival of India. The Embassy organised exhibition of handicrafts, seminars, dances, music, tourism, gastronomy, literary events and golf tournamnet as part of the Festival. This year we had a special section dedicated to the great poet Rabindra Nath Tagore, to commemorate 150th anniversary of his birthday. Main venue of the Festival was Borges Cultural Centre. Food festival was at Hotel Sheraton. Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) was the main collaborator of the embassy in organising the Festival.

Visit of Daisy May Queen to India in October 2011
The famous Argentine radio and tv show personality Daisy who starts and ends her programmes saying Namaste will say Namaste in Delhi at the Indian Handicarfts Fair and visit other places in India as the guest of the Embassy. Divya is the Indian name of Daisy who is the hostess in the Gala of the Festivals of India organised by the embassy every year.
